In a thriller the Jefferson Park Penguins staged a dramatic comeback then held
on to win over the Enterprise Trekkers by a score of 4 to 2 at the
ballpark.

Jefferson Park came up with the deciding runs in the top of the 9th inning as
they scored 4 runs on 3 base hits. The key offensive moment was provided by
Bret Boone who silenced the ballpark as he belted a three-run homer (his 8th
of the season). The game was a scoreless duel until the 6th inning.

The winning pitcher was Greg Aquino(1-0) who allowed no runs in 2 and 1/3
innings. Troy Percival recorded his 6th save. Doug Brocail(1-1) was hit with
the loss in relief.

'I pin this one on my own shoulders,' Brocail said. 'The bottom line is I
didn't get the job done. Our fans deserve better than this.'
